Terms of Service

The Service

Khembara lets users discover campsites, save trip plans, collaborate on trip checklists, share reviews, and submit campsite or astrophotography photos for admin approval.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping your Google account secure. You must provide accurate information and must not use another person's account without permission.

User Content

You keep ownership of reviews, trip content, and photos you submit. By submitting content, you give Khembara permission to host, display, resize, moderate, and use that content to operate and promote the service.

Uploaded photos may be compressed and reviewed by admins before public display. We may reject or remove content that is unsafe, misleading, unlawful, abusive, spam, or unrelated to campsites and outdoor travel.

Trip Planning and Safety

Campsite details, maps, weather, facilities, ratings, and route information may be incomplete or change without notice. Always verify campsite conditions, permissions, safety requirements, road access, and weather before travelling.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, harmful, infringing, or illegal content.
• Harass other users or misuse trip sharing features.
• Attempt to access accounts, trips, or data that you are not allowed to access.
• Scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service.

Third-Party Services

Khembara may use third-party services such as Google sign-in, Google Maps, hosting, database, and storage providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers and Limitation

Khembara is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes and Termination

We may update these terms or change the service over time. We may suspend or terminate access if a user violates these terms or creates risk for other users or the service.
